This is my first purchase from Wilsonville Subaru, it was awesome! I think I put their patience to test way more than they ever did mine. Ainslie who answered my online request was great to talk to and very helpful even when I wasn't sure if I wanted to deal with a salesman just yet. I will say this isn't your typical car dealership, trust me I've bought plenty of cars in my life. The pressure wasn't an issue or even really present, actually to me it was more informative than anything. Better than any other dealership I've dealt with in the past. Here's how my experience went. Work kept getting in the way and I couldn't show up when I thought I could. When I did show up, unannounced or short notice, everyone understood and was very happy to help. Holly took the time to say hi, already having an appointment with another customer she introduced me to Flo that could help me until she got back. Both times I had to leave due to work only having a couple of minutes of time to check out the used car we were looking at. We finally decided that we were going to buy the used Nissan they had on the lot and went to take it for a test drive sometime the next day. Holly having the day off still returned my text several times and set me up with Andrew for handling my paperwork. My wife and I finally made it both there at the same time the next day and with the car we were trading in for trade value. Easy process and we agreed on the number they gave us. Big plus, they didn't even hold my keys ransom before I agreed. Those that know will understand. Ready to sign papers and my wife, love her for who she is, started looking at new cars. While we started the paperwork she came back really liking a car on the showroom and I said no, that's going to be too much and laughed, to my surprise it really wasn't.... I realized as we walked around that the prices were more than great from what I found, not only for the used car we wanted, but for the new ones too. She really liked one of the WRX models in white but really, Turbo? Manual? OK? You can't blame me for exploring that option right? Pretty sure she thought they were orphan cars in the show room and wanted one for each day but we can only take one home. By now they're moving the whole showroom around to get the second car out for a test drive, mind you on Tuesday night just before close. It wasn't planned this way I swear. Thought for sure I was really the worst customer ever. Andrew just smiled and said "No problem, I'm happy to help with whatever car you want", on to our test drive we went. Paperwork afterward went flawlessly. Now we are really feeling bad keeping so many people late at work, workers that I even didn't even deal with were happy and friendly. Today was the first day my wife drove it for the day. This afternoon she sent a text saying she can't drive the car. All I was thinking, thank God they have a 5 day return, must be the 6sp manual, definite dog tail if I have to return it. When I got home she explained.... She needs to return it because, "It's too fun to drive". Well happy to say, it's not coming back, she was so excited to take me out on a Wednesday night drive tonight. THANKS everyone that had to deal with us, hopefully not soon but, we'll be back! Happy to share our experience.

I just traded my 2017 Outback in for a 2019 Certified Pre Owned (CPO) Outback. I was lucky enough to work with Andrew. His ability to explain the intricacies of the warranties available and the difference between a new car and their CPO program really cleared things up for me. For my situation it worked out better to go with the CPO Outback. The entire staff at Wilsonville was great to meet and everyone was more then willing to answer any questions I had. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an extremely easy and no pressure buying experience. They earned a customer for life.
We came in with good information about the car we wanted and a tight time constraint to make a purchase. I had already picked specs on what seemed to be a good price for the Forester. Subaru was ready for us. They had a sales person - Andrew - assigned to us from the moment we arrived and the vehicle with my name on it for a test drive. Eventually, we actually moved two steps up from my original choice - thanks to generous father-in-law! Andrew was responsive to every question and full of information with a calm, patient and pleasant demeanor. There was no hard sell, just clear exchange of information and possibilities. Two hours later, after we made the purchase and I drove off the lot with the new car, Andrew drove my old Subaru to my home in Portland with an assistant following him for the return ride. He followed up earlier this week with a call to check that everything was okay - which it is! Lots of new information on the driving panels in contrast to my 2004 Outback. Subaru schedules as needed my return to the dealership to go over the panel. True for whatever level you buy, I am sure. Be prepared for 2 thick user guides - a bit overwhelming, but understandable now that a computer runs half the car.

This was the best experience we have ever had! It was easy literally no BS. In and out in a few hours, they took our car we came home with a truck! We have had lengthy and less-than-fun dealership experiences before, but we actually enjoyed our time car shopping today. Ainslie helped me identify some options before ever coming in, and Andrew was a courteous and no-pressure sales specialist who stayed with us through the whole process, and allowed us time to snack and deliberate options. This location is huge and has a cafe as well as a great waiting area and ping pong table while you’re waiting for paperwork to process. My husband and I are glad to have this dealership in our community and I’m thankful they were so conscientious and friendly to make car buying that much less overwhelming.

I met with Andrew Porter to discuss the upcoming end of my lease. Did I want to buy my car or get a new one (I would not look at anything other than a Subaru)? I had been thinking about it. Andrew took me through the options very thoroughly and I finally decided that I wanted a 2019 "Winter Ice" Outback LTD. He had one in stock and I loved it! We then took care of all the paperwork and with his wonderful personality and help, I felt that I had leased the perfect car from a great person and a great dealership! We walked into Wilsonville Subaru after an exhausting day of car shopping - at just one other place. We were not expecting to purchase as I didn’t think My wife could take another salesman’s ‘dance’; we just wanted to look at inventory. We were upfront with Andrew and he was very accommodating. He explained the how and why Wilsonville was different. In the end we did buy a certified used vehicle and we couldn’t be happier. I’ve already asked Andrew to find my daughter a vehicle and will continue to refer him to others!

I have leased 2 Outbacks in a row, and my 2nd lease was close to ending so I spent days researching other makes/models to see if there was something else I could get that would be more affordable and still meet my needs. On Sunday late afternoon, 9/22/19, at the end of my search, I went to Wilsonville Subaru to do a final comparison on cost/incentives/availability, etc. I already knew I liked the Outback. I was exhausted and "done" but needed to see what they could do for me so that I could make my final decision. Tom Tyson was my sales rep. He was calming and accommodating, and he could tell how frustrated I was by that point. His patience was tested (as was mine) when the dealership's internet went down, right at the point when he was getting ready to go through the numbers with me. I waited for about 30 minutes for the internet to come back up, but at 5:45 he said I could leave and he would call me the next day, and if the numbers worked he could bring the new car to my office where we could sign everything and he would drive mine back to the dealership, He knew better than to ask me to come back down there during the week - I work full time and have evening activities every day. I left the dealership, and within 5 minutes he called me to say that the internet was back up, and he invited me back to finish our review. I turned around, went back, and ended up getting a solid deal on a new Outback, in my top but uncommon interior and exterior color choice. His calmness and the dealership's willingness to create a deal that worked to my advantage (I was over my mileage, still owed 2 payments, and my car had some slight damage to the bumper) are all reasons that I give them the rating that I do - and I would most definitely recommend others to go to that dealership, and Tom specifically, for a Subaru purchase or lease.
Sales: We were very impressed with the complete lack of pressure from our salesman and his equally high level of professionalism. We didn't quite know what we wanted, and he was very patient explaining various options and vehicle features. He was knowledgeable in a variety of areas regarding vehicles, which surprisingly, isn't always common in car sales. His level of professionalism also showed through when the deal went well beyond the expected time frame and likely the end of his shift. If there were more stars to give for him, we would. Price: The price was around Market Value on CarGurus or TrueCars. I wouldn't call it amazing, but certainly not bad either. The lack of the typical "I need to talk to my Manager" nonsense was more than enough to null out any possible savings you might get by attempting to obtain a "great" deal somewhere else. As we all know, you might get a "great" deal on the car elsewhere, but if you have a trade-in, then there's a reckoning to be had which can erase all of your gains. Trade: I felt they were very upfront with the trade. I have quite a bit of experience buying and selling vehicles, and am generally competent in assessing the condition of a vehicle. I felt that our vehicle was in "Good" condition: a check/ding in a spot or two, light scratches on the front or rear bumper, maybe a wheel recondition, a detail, but really nothing else. I had already reviewed several sites prior to the trade-in to know what the value of "Good" condition was. They gave "Good" condition value on the trade-in, but subtracted out the value of new tires. The tires were in dire need of replacement. "Good" condition typically expects that the tires be in good condition as well. Paperwork: This is where I felt the dealership really fell down on the job. It had nothing to do with our salesman, but within an hour and a half of arriving - which included test-driving multiple cars, discussing features and the price of our trade, and even confirming that we wanted to purchase our car (arriving at 4:15 pm, being ready to close by 5:50 pm), we spent another 3 HOURS getting out the door. The problem? One of the loan guys was on vacation, and one was out sick, leaving only one to manage everything. As a customer, I don't really care about that and don't expect nor desire to spend that kind of time when we're all in agreement on terms. The dealership should be equipped to handle those eventualities. If it weren't for our salesman, this review would be much lower, simply due to the aforementioned situation. Conclusion: Would I shop there again? Yes. Why? The salesmanship and the transparency.

This was, by far, the best car buying experience we have had. Andrew was super knowledgeable and patient. He answered all of our questions (and then some) about the car and process. He was not pushy at all and really listened to our concerns. He took his time finding us the perfect vehicle and would touch-base regularly while we were waiting for our car to be delivered. Thank you ANDREW PORTER for assisting us in our car leasing experience. We tried the old way with another dealer and it was BRUTAL. We came to Wilsonville Subaru nervous and apprehensive. Greeted with smiles and ushered in to meet Andrew was unexpected happiness. All of our questions were answered and our test drive was so fun. Andrew went beyond the call of duty and got us into our new 2019 Forester. He taught us about all the ins and outs of the dashboard and special features and made sure we were comfortable with our new vehicle. While there, we saw maybe 100 people come in and each was greeted happily as we were. Every desk was occupied with folks buying or leasing a Subaru. There were kids in the play area and folks enjoying the cozy fireplace or playing ping pong. There was food, coffee and of course the kind Wilsonville folks making sure everyone was doing good. This was my first time buying a new car, and went into it with very little knowledge of the process or what to expect, or what exactly I was looking for. Andrew was the first person I met walking through the door, and the only person I dealt with the entire step of the way. He worked extremely hard over the next 5 weeks to help me narrow down what I wanted, walk me through all the options, answer every question I had, and iron out every little detail. It felt extremely up front and honest from the very start, I never had to play any games, and I never felt pressured into making a decision. I stopped at the dealership 5 times to look at things, test drive and ask questions, and nobody was ever pushy. Very positive experience for my first new car.

You don't get shuffled around and you are not waiting for other people to be able to help you. Andrew Porter was our sales associate, and he was able to answer the whole range of car-buying questions as we interacted. He knows the cars, the financing details, the government docs - the whole thing. He is a no-pressure sales person too - he is interested in getting you the car you want. As far as price goes, I compared prices from CarMax, another dealer and Kelly Blue Book - Wilsonville Subaru met the Blue Book range, and beat out the other two dealers.

I went to Subaru with a certain model in mind: Crosstrek. I was super nervous because it was my first car purchase. My grandpa was a car salesman so I had a certain frame of mind when purchasing a car. Andrew completely changed that for me! Andrew was helpful and hassle free. Questions were answered, no gimmick, and at the end was a happy sale. I had no intention of committing today, but the experience was so fluid, there was no reason to why not to.
I have nothing but praise to say about Andrew Porter and the folks at Wilsonville Subaru! To sum everything up: Andrew stayed late at work on a Sunday evening (after they had closed) to help seal the deal for my new 2019 WRX STi, provided me with all the information I needed, was not pushy in any way, shape or form, answered all my questions about the lease deal, and with the help from Alan Anderson, was able to get me a great deal on the car as well as giving me over Bluebook value on my trade in. Andrew made the process super easy and never seemed like he wanted to rush me through anything just to get home. It's little things like that, which add up to probably the best car buying experience I have had. I would highly recommend working with Andrew if you are shopping for a new Subaru! You will get the proper attention and care that is sorely lacking from other dealerships.
I came to Wilsonville Subaru for the selection and the support that ALL the employees offer. From the first step in the door you are treated as part of the family. Everybody at this dealer is truly there to help in anyway that you need. Also a great place to grab a bite to eat.
We are from the Salem area and drove over to Wilsonville to look at there selection of Subarus. Andrew helped us out, answered all my questions and was very nice. He took us through all the different vehicles we were interested in. We decided that the Impreza was best for us. I love my new car! I am in my mid-forties and my recent car purchase at Subaru Wilsonville is my eleventh time dealing with a transaction at a car dealership since I was 18 years old. Not every experience was horrible, but most were taxing and stressful with a lot of the stereotypical car salesman issues. Andrew Porter is an honest and hard-working gentleman who did an excelllent job helping me complete a simple car purchase. This person understands people and doesn't have any car salesman traits in any way. Because of his very professional demeanor, I can only suppose he does not really want to sell cars, but he definitely didn't say or relate any such feeling toward his service to me and my wife. It is apparent that he will excel at anything that is asked of him. Because of his extremely personable and direct style, I intend to recommend Wilsonville Subaru to many of my friends and colleges. It's a very nice and friendly shop.
We are back to buy another Suburu with Wilsonville. We are a Suburu family and have enjoyed the experience of purchasing from this dealership. They don’t hurry you through the process and educate you on all the wonderful aspects of the Suburu you are purchasing. I have never had that attention before.
Overall very good experience. Very friendly and knowledgable. Had a snafu with the agreed upon price/terms, but they met me in the middle which while not ideal was appreciated. Minus that, I’d give an all round 5 stars.

This was by far my favorite dealership and salesman ever. The location is very nice and keeps you out of the rain. My salesman was very friendly and knowledgeable. I didn't feel pressured like other places I visited. They had a large variety of inventory. The late hours were great for me to be able to visit after work.
