Our Newest Custom Subaru: A Lifted Legacy

“You lifted… a what?” You heard it right – a lifted Subaru Legacy. Our talented parts and service team have built an eye-catching Legacy that definitely stands out from the crowd. The best part? It could be yours. Check out some of the features on our newest custom addition to our showroom floor.
The Original Model:
Our team started this unique project by taking a Magnetite Gray Metallic Subaru Legacy 2.5i Premium and adding all the bells and whistles to make it remarkable. The 2.5i Premium comes standard with a custom grille, fully automatic projector beam daytime running lights, LED brake lights, heated reclining front bucket seats and more. The Legacy is already pretty awesome as it is, but why not make it even better?
The Additions:
The exterior of this Legacy is pretty extraordinary – for added ground clearance, our team installed a 1.5 inch Primitive lift kit. The BFGoodrich T/A KO2 all-terrain tires are perfect for off-roading while still providing a comfortable drive on the road. For added safety (and looks, of course) all windows have been tinted and fog lights have been installed. This monster Legacy has Thule cross bars with a Thule cargo basket to help carry everything you need to take on your next adventure. Body side moldings and a rear spoiler help spice up the exterior while keeping it dent-free and efficient at the same time. Our team added Rally Armor mud flaps and WeatherTech mats to ensure the Legacy stays in pristine shape, no matter what adventure you decide to go on.

Love it. What size tires are they on the legacy.
Looks awesome! Mine wanting mine to look similar. What size tires did you fit in there with a 1.5 inch lift
Great question. Those are KO2 225/65R17.
Thanks for asking Dylan, those are tall KO2s on 17″ rims. Specifically 225/65R17.
Where did you guys get the front lip?
Good question. Our Parts & Accessories Manager can answer that for you. Just give him a call at 503-629-1100.
I can’t find the price of lifted Legacy
We’re not allowed by the manufacturer to show certain pricing on our site. Use the CHAT/TEXT feature or give us a call and we’re happy to quote you No Bull Price for any vehicle.
Did you need to use spacers to get a tire that big on there?
Great question! Yes, since we used the same size wheel but a taller tire, we think it might rub when turning full left or right without the small lift. If you went with a smaller wheel though, you’ll have more steering clearance.
Can your service team put a similar lift on a 2013 legacy?
We can do just about any model! Feel free to contact Seth in our parts department for more information. (503) 946-9203
How much are you selling it for I have a 2018 legacy im really interested in it live in Minnesota it would look great up here driveling around
Thanks for asking, Jody! This specific Legacy has now been sold, however our team can create another to your liking.
Just find a model you like in our inventory and give us a call if you’d like to customize it! (503) 946-9203
Still have any left?
Price?
Hi Jenn! We currently do have one lifted Legacy in stock. You can find more information here: https://www.wilsonvillesubaru.com/inventory/new-2019-subaru-legacy-2-5i-premium-foundations-series-awd-sedan-4s3bnaf65k3015297
Wow, what amazing job, mine next pleaase!
Would you be able to tell me what kind of rims those are?
Can’t believe we left out that info! According to our Parts Dept Manager, Seth Breiman, those are Method 502s in Titanium, 17″. Thanks for asking.
Does it hurt any of the steering components over time? Just wondering if it will require more maintenance costs over time.
That’s a fair question Vince. The only negative impact we’re aware of is slightly reduced MPG due to the higher weight and raised profile. It hasn’t been significant for most people but over several years, it would likely be noticeable. We have no reports of increased maintenance related to properly installed minimal/leveling lifts or wheels and tires.
Can you use this same lift setup on a WRX?? Because obviously I want to do this to my WRX now…
Yes, we can! 🙂
I want more ground clearance for a 2005 legacy 25 GT Limited w/manual transmission. I live in Texas on a ranch that just has cow pasture ungraveled roads to travel. So not looking for serious rock crawling off roading just more ground clearance if i slip into old road ruts.
Great build. I have a 2021 Legacy Touring XT. I just bought Anderson Fabrications 1.5″ lift kit for it.
Do you think 17″ rims would fit on the 2021? It comes with 18’s.
Can this be done on a new legacy?
Where can I buy the lift
Can this be done on a 2020 Ford Fusion SE AWD?
