Wilsonville Subaru Is EcoBiz Certified

We’re proud to announce that Wilsonville Subaru is an EcoBiz certified dealership. According to the EcoBiz website, “EcoBiz, short for Eco-Logical Business, is a certification recognizing businesses in Oregon that adopt best practices and protect the environment. The completely free and voluntary program is designed to prevent and minimize hazardous waste, air and water pollution.”

The EcoBiz mission is carried out by the Pollution Prevention Outreach (P2O) Team, which comprises planners and management experts from the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality, Clean Water Services, and other organizations. To become certified, companies must be evaluated regarding their air quality and pollution, hazardous waste management, purchasing and inventory management, employee training, recycling practices, vehicles washing and stormwater, spill prevention and response, cleaning procedures, product and waste storage, and energy and water use.
